Bespoke Construction Services are delighted to announce that works at Waitrose's new state-of-the-art distribution centre in Milton Keynes, are now complete.
Situated in Magna Park, this brand new 938,449 sq ft development covers a staggering 45 acres and will serve as Waitrose's new hub. The recently completed project saw us undertake fit-out works to several areas within this enormous centre over a period of 20 weeks. Within this time, partitions, drylining, carpentry, ceiling and joinery works were carried out.
Completion of works will now allow this monster hub to live up to its principle objective - to handle the distribution of around 25,000 nationally available home and grocery items. With aims to improve national distribution to all 317 supermarkets across the UK and as big as twelve football pitches, this unique distribution centre is now one of the largest of its kind ever constructed in the UK.
We are pleased to make such a triumphant return to an industrial park, where we completed works at the neighbouring John Lewis distribution centre in 2014. This is also now our third completed project for supermarket giants, Waitrose. Please see the below links to find out more about our previous Chorley and Coulsdon projects.
