Bespoke is delighted to announce its return to Magna Park in Milton Keynes. This time for supermarket giants Waitrose and their new state-of-the-art distribution centre.
This brand new 938,449 sq ft development covers a staggering 45 acres and will serve as Waitrose's new hub, handling the distribution of around 25,000 nationally available grocery and home department items. With aims to improve national distribution to all 317 supermarkets and convenience stores across the UK and as big as twelve football pitches, this unique distribution centre will be one of the largest of its kind ever constructed in the UK. This reflects the phenomenal growth of the popular grocery retailer.
This sizable project has recently commenced and will see us complete fit-out works to several office areas within this enormous centre. Works will run for 20 weeks and will involve an interior fit-out package comprising of partitions, drylining, carpentry, joinery and the installation of Armstrong suspended ceilings.
After completing works at their Chorley Offices in 2013 and Coulsdon offices earlier this year, this will be Bespoke's third project for end-user, Waitrose. We are proud to play such an important role in the continued growth of one of the country's most popular supermarket chains.
Works are due to be complete at our neighbouring John Lewis project in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for news of its completion!
