Bespoke is thrilled to reveal details from Amazon's newly completed warehouse & distribution centre in Bolton.Located within Logistics North Industrial Park, one of the most high profile logistics and manufacturing schemes in the North West, this gigantic project has been completed for online powerhouse, Amazon.
In 2016, Bespoke completed the original fit-out of this building which at the time, had no end-user. Now acquired by Amazon, the internet giant have effectively doubled the footprint of this distribution centre to mirror the need & demand for their products. The sizable hub now includes two levels of mezzanine flooring, twice the office & warehouse space, as well as a canteen area and break rooms.
Working in conjunction with Winvic Construction, our works package included partitions, drylining, joinery, the creation of free standing metsec toilet blocks, as well as the installation of kitchen facilities and Armstrong suspended ceilings.
The opening of this new hub will give a welcome jobs boost to the region, with an estimated 1200 new jobs set to be made available.
This now becomes our fourth completed project for Amazon following previous projects in Dunstable, Bardon and Coventry.
